The world is running out of ip addresses.
But not to fear, IP V6 will be here.
The only problem will be that ip v4 probably won't be able to communicate with computers with ip v6 addresses.

What do you guys think?

maybe if they run out of ip's then microsoft cant ban you because it could band more then one person

1st you need to knowif your network issue IP Addresses dynamically (DHCP) or what some would say
"automatically gets an IP address we you power on.

Or . does your network have only static addresses. If it's static you would
want to make sure you're not attempting to use an address that is already in
use by another machine (i.e. computer, WiFi access point, printer, etc...).



If your network is DHCP you would want to assure that your machine doesn't
have the same MAC Address of another machine on the network.
