Lunar lander letters question

Can the letters be collected more than once because if they can why doesent someone try spelling out samantha.
Sickle to stamina up- A
Home to sickle- N
Stamina to Home- U
Home to Stamina- L
stamina to Sickle- H
Sickle to Home- I
ph to home- E
Home to ph- T
stamina to ph- M
Ph to stamina- R
Sickle to Ph- Y
ph to sickle- S
It is not possible to do in order but if u call the lander with no one on it to your desired section it shouldent collect the letter.
So you could go
1. ph to sickle-S
2. sickle to stamina up-A
3. stamina to ph-M
4. call it to sickle with no one on it
5. sickle to stamina up-A
6. call to home with no one on it
7. home to sickle-N
8. call to home with no one on it
9. home to ph-T
10. call to stamina up with no one on it
11. stamina up to sickle-H
12. sickle to stamina up-A
Also 12 letters and 12 steps
please leave your answers or opinion below

The first thing I ever spelled was SAMANTHA. None of the characters said anything, and no changes to the map were made.

I already tried to spell Samantha along with a bunch of other combos
And nothing happens
