Hmm good idea some one should try this... It would be hard protecting 5 machines with 4 people though.

i don't think it's possible to be able to defend all perk machines from getting touched with just 4 people. In the off chance that you do, I would believe it would just drop a max ammo.

While doing the Lander glitch with a buddy, we didn't open any areas of the map that lead to a Perk, so when the Monkey round came, the only perk we had to watch was PHD Flopper and Quick Revive. We successfully did this several times, and got all 5 perks. The following Monkey Round we did it again, and only the Max Ammo was dropped.

I don't have any proof of it, but if you're looking for something to do, you can try it for yourselves.

I usually have everyone buy claymores as early as possible and place them in front of the machines. At the beginning of every round, we stash our claymores on a wall so they don't get blown up and in case we get a max ammo, we'll get two more each. You can get around six to eight claymores per round each depending on max ammos and at the end of a round, pick up all your claymores and place them near the machines. If you don't go near the machines during a round they'll never go off. It's usually pretty easy to get 15 or more claymores to protect each machine. I usually guard phd flopper and jugg and everyone guards one. Real easy to keep all five perks in my opinion. All you get is a max ammo if they don't touch any of the machines. I hope this helps.

Not always.

But hypothetically, even if they did destroy all of them, it would still slow them down enough to give you time to protect the machine yourself.

Ah, I was under the impression that everyone had to have the same 4 perks to get the 5th, and since it is random on the perk you get from the monkeys, I didn't think it was possible to get 5 without opening the doors. I stand corrected.
