Im seriously getting so irritated at TTG now a days. I use to get on everyday to look around on the forms and see quality posts. I enjoyed looking around. Now its just a race to see who has the most posts or whos better. Grant it, there are some awesome posts around here, but they are getting more and more scarce. I feel that people at TTG are pressing or giving the feeling to new members and lower post members that the number of posts gives you seniority, which it absolutely does not. Yeah you can have Gawley over here who has 9,000+ posts and has done sooooo much for the community. But it doesn't make it any different to treat him as you do a member who just joined.
For Example...
Say Gawley Posts....( Sorry Im picking on Gawley, just one of my favorite members that comes to mind.)
"Free XP Lobby... Join!"
I can almost guarantee you will not post FAKE!! DO NOT JOIN!!
Because Gawley is a very trusted member
But what if......
A new Member Posts the same thing
I will bet money... that everyone will flame that post to no end with fakee.
The thing is... you dont even know that person! Your just assuming that they are fake because they are a lower rank.
If you have such a problem with this member posting this report him, and have a moderator do his job and review the topic and let him make the decision... not you.
When you post like this on peoples posts you give them the feeling that they cant post anymore, for the fear of this.
So the main point I want to give to you TTG is that, report the posts that you dont feel are to your "standards" or TTG's. Dont post and try to act like your in charge. Let the moderators make that decision not YOU
Please thank the topic if you agree. Its appreciated
Thanks Yankee for that sum up: Report and move on

But trusted members know what to post e.g. Pictures and proof. Most new members come to spam gamertags or leech lobbies/msp.

But the new members can be told to read the rules in a nice manner, not a flame war. And most new members come for different reasons. Ask any member why the joined. I doubt you will get the answer "to spam gamertags or leech lobbies"

I agree. A lot of people think they can trust the person because they have Gold, or they have high post / rep count.
But it's quality, not quantity.
