I am going to buy my Ipad 2 this week! It is going to have a smart cover on it so the color of the actual Ipad is still roaming my mind what would look sick with a green or a black cover?

Black!! If it gets dirty it wont be as visible as a white one.

I got the iPad 2 recently, would be glad to help.

I got the WiFi model, 64 GB, (WiFi because i also have 3g on droid)

I chose black over white because at the store, i tried them both out and the white one honestly looks cheap in my opinion, plus if you get scratches on the white model, they will be pretty noticeable.

I say black because when you are looking at the screen, the bezel is supposed to "fade away" so you can concentrate on the screen. The white kind of ruins this effect and stands out.

Before you sell your soul to Apple, you have to at least consider the Asus Eee Pad Transformer. It is cheaper, compatible with a keyboard, has USB ports when docked, rootable, etc. If you can wait, look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. It is thinner and has a MUCH larger, and supposedly nicer, screen than the iPad.

But, I'm not the one to steer you from an iPad. I can't tell you what you want. I just suggest that you try an Android tablet before you buy anything. You might like one!
