Item description:

This was the map I used to learn Hammer's features. It was never intended for release, only to test the basic functions involved in level design.

The level loosely resembles a re-education facility where citizens are taken to be brainwashed. The citizens are monitored by the staff, who occupy the upper floor. Citizens are not allowed upstairs. The facility has showers, changing rooms, laundry, monitoring stations, offices, a staff lounge, a bathroom and an air-conditioned classroom. The facility was stormed by rebels hence the damage to the front door and other areas.

I decided to release it as a beta to see if the concept was even remotely interesting and/or workable into a finished, final design. The strangely shaped non-valve skybox buildings are practice pieces made out of brushwork that I decided to keep in the map. Enjoy it but realize that it was made solely to teach myself the editor and I went into this map with ZERO knowledge of how to design levels.
