Here is the version of the level incorporting some of the suggestions made in the SnarkPit forums.

This is the standalone level 2 for the map pack Assault on a Strider Base. This level has no transition when finished. Instead, a text message appears saying "This is the level end". At this point the player can either wander around and view the sites, or exit.

To play the map place the asb_blocke_alone.bsp file in the Valve/Steam/SteamApps/FOLDER/half-life 2/hl2/maps directory. Here FOLDER is the user directory created when the game is installed. By default the Valve directory is placed in the "Program Files" directory. Begin the game, bring down the console, and type "map asb_blocke_alone" (without the quotes). The level will load, and you're set to go.
