The 8×8 menu font featured in the European retail release of Final Fantasy V Advance is unattractive; its problem doesn’t lie only in its slimness, but in how uneven some of the letters are. Adding to that, the small typeface is hard to read for some players. Therefore, this two-patch package was created to beautify the original thin font, as well as widen it a little in the vein of the US version.

Both patches also fix continuity errors in the Music Player.
