I can confirm that this does work for [CUSA18017] for me to get this to work, I resigned the first save "SaveService-Line-0-30Slot" after copying to my Playstation. I picked a random Mercenaries level and played it normal. As soon as I finished, the Trophy "Legendary Cowboy" popped and the LZ Answerer unlocked. I used my CP points to purchase it. YOU MUST HAVE SAVE VERSION [CUSA18017] FOR THIS TO WORK! This is not a fake upload, please don't be mislead!

I used savewizard and got the SSS in mercs but the lightsaber doesn't unlock? Is it meant to?
You need to play one round in merc and die or play normal. Once the round finished you unlock it automatically
