You both get a move/turn after each other
For you (Valaneese)....
Shield 1: Move left, then next move: rotate left
Shield 2: Move right, then next move: forward one space
Shield 3: Move forward one space
Valaneese (7 moves/turns):
Move right three spaces - forward one space - Left two spaces - then forward
Shield 3:
Keep rotating shield until the Ice Guard is directly in front of it
Shield 3: Move left (then Valaneese will automatically shoot the Ice Guard)
You both get a move/turn after each other
