Gale is a very powerful wizard who excels in Weaving magic, but due to a mistake in the past, his magical power has faded (level reset to 1). However, he has retained the accumulated knowledge and experience ("Dexterous Spellcaster", "Master of Quick Spells", "Daredevil's Proximity", can use "Daylight" and "Create Water", owns "Astral Knowledge" and "Fast Magic Hand"), as well as an outstanding talent in magic (skill in the "Magic" skill, has one additional spell slot of 1-3 circles, the "Reliable Talent" feature), which distinguishes him from other wizards.

He is inclined to intellectual reflection and looks at everything from a pragmatic and analytical point of view (skill in the "Investigation" and "Insight" skills). He can tell a lot about the history of the Forgotten Realms (skill in the "History" skill). Optimist, romantic, has a cheerful character and loves to joke / "rant" (ability "Enthralling speech").

In the process of studying occult knowledge, he absorbed some of the Netherian magic ("Devil's Vision", "Tormental Blast" and "Knockback Projectile"). Corrupted by the forbidden magic of ancient Netheril (feature "Wild Magic", ability "Teleportation"), he was able to survive (feature "Dark Luck"), but is forced to absorb magical artifacts to prevent a catastrophe: in case of death, magical energy falls from his body, which damages all living beings around.
