Copies OK to ps3 but only starts a new game and creates a new empty directory.
Made a composite using the icon and param files from the original saved game and the VME files from this one but still no luck, but did not create a second directory this time.
Any ideas?

This does not work for me.. I have tried the same for all 3 GTA classics and non of my games recognize these save files.
I have the store versions that I have downloaded also ( the ps2 version ) still dont work.

I transfer on my usb then to PS3 but it says no saved files on usb. Am I doing something wrong?

It does not work in your PS4 . This save game is only for PS3.
