Twitch 5 for Google Chrome was removed from the chrome store this is the last version 2017.10.29.
Twitch 5 gives more control over the Twitch player and also blocks all Twitch ads.
To install go to menu > more tools > extensions
Enable developer mode top right
unzip and drag the 2017.10.29.crx file onto the extensions page to install.
Once installed visit any Twitch live stream to change settings ad-blocking is on by default
