NOTE: I just wanted to make extra clear that I did not make this, I've only compiled the code. All credits go to the original authors!
As the title says, this is a version of switch-lan-play updated to the latest Git commit (f4f877a as of writing) precompiled to run on Linux for 32-bit armhf systems.
Going into more detail, the binary was compiled on a device running a SC8830 SoC (ARMv7l rev 5) running Debian 9 but it should run on systems using similiar specs if all the needed dependencies have been installed (for example you should be able to run this on a Raspberry Pi 2/3 if you're using Raspbian!)
So far the only dependency required for running the executable is libpcap0.8, you can get it on Debian-based systems via:
Code:
sudo apt-get install libpcap0.8
Depending on your system you should be able to run this on ARM64. The only systems on which this binary should not be compatible at all are the ones running armel SoC/CPUs - if that's your case then you should compile the code yourself.
Finally, this is mainly for people that don't want to go through the whole compilation process just to run the program on their ARM systems, but if you have some time to spare it's still recommended to compile it yourself so you get all the sweet system-specific optimizations 'n stuff!
Check out switch-lan-play's GitHub repo here and its official GBATemp thread here!
