Why do people enjoy cars like this?! Why do people put thousands of dollars into upgrades for pieces of sh*t?! Looks ugly, looks ugly, looks ugly. And the sad thing is, my dads 2012 Charger SRT8 would still probably kick that thing into next week... being only tuned...

because you get a better connection with your car you know how to fix stuff and do stuff your dad probably takes his charger into a garage just to get the oil changed. ALso why would you want a automatic sports car from the Chrysler group they are pure **** if you want a real car drive something with 5 or 6 on the floor

And I 100% agree with all three of you that replied back. It does give you a better connection to your car. I'm not arguing on why people upgrade their cars, my point is why do people do it to old (in my opinion, crappy looking) cars? Why not get a mid 2000's Camaro or some other kind of car that has a nice body style? Even if that car had 1000 horsepower I wouldn't drive it in public because it just looks stupid. I give you props on upgrading it and stuff but why not do that to a nice, new car? Give you the same connection and its all around a nicer car.

Older cars are easier & cheaper to work on, Its the car i built myself honestly the only reason i still have it is it holds a Sentimental value its more of a trophy, It sits in my garage and i can say i built it, If it didn't have that meaning i would of sold it by now, I run & own a garage named Custom Classics so for me to have new cars around it wouldn't really make much sense would it? But i do have newer cars in my collection

See, for people like you that make sense. You own a company with older parts/cars. Makes 100% sense. But for people not like you, if youre going to spend 10K (not saying everyone does, but the people that do) on upgrades, why not do it to a nicer car? And yes, where did you get those wheels? Lol

A lot of people do it as a hobby, and these cars aren't necessarily their daily drivers like my car is for me, so they just get a nice, cheap car to do this kind of crazy stuff to. Like I said for a lot of people this is a hobby they do in their spare time, but that being said they don't want to sacrifice the reliability of their daily commuter to do so.
