Wasn't it the 04/05 Season, we won the won the league smashing the points record.
The season after the invincibles were you still had the likes of Henry etc

These financial restrictions you speak of wasn't actually until around 07.

We just can't develop on the attendance due to our location.

Ey Torres and Eto'o have scored in our last 2 games, they are on..... Fire

I've been to the Bridge about 4 times I think (3 youth games and a Chelsea vs Arsenal match) and honestly, it's nothing special. Not much better than Brentford or Craven Cottage.
Also, your three strikers have one PL goal between them. I wouldn't say they were on 'fire'.

I've got a season ticket at the bridge, love it there. The location is perfect, the bars are perfect, the sobar is amazing (You would only know if you were Chelsea) and it is just perfect

I've been to the emirates and am actually going back there on Tuesday actually, for the league cup..

It's a nice stadium, but there is just no atmosphere at all... Yes, it's nice and luxurious but in my opinion the best part about a football match is the atmosphere and back at the bridge, ours is outstanding

I live 20 minutes away from the location. I live 10 minutes away from their Cobham training ground. I know the area very well. I'm not denying how good the location is, because it's one of the best areas in the country. But as I said, the stadium is mediocre. Obviously you wouldn't agree because you're a Chelsea fan.

By the way, very noble of you guys. 4 Chelsea fans against 1 here. (;

As an Arsenal fan I'm guessing you just care about things like how much legroom you have and how comfy the seating is, but when I go to a match, I go for the atmosphere with a few mates and have a good time & cheer my team on. I couldn't care less if I had an extra 2 inches legroom infront of my feet.

But to be fair, most Arsenal fans are armchair fans and by the sounds of it, you aren't one, so you are better than most gooners

The best part about the bridge is how it suits the location, everything there is made for the rich basically,a soon as you get of at Fulham Broadway walk down Kings road all the cafe's, bars etc are all high class.

Not forgetting like you said our atmosphere, which has increased massively now the special one is back, such a more positive vibe.

The only thing we lack is a high attendance, but I wouldn't want to move outside of Fulham for a new stadium.
Most of the high attendance stadiums e.g OT have such a dull atmosphere, rather stay at the bridge if it was up to me.

Buy out all the remaining shares in the stadium and develop the shed into a superstand like the kop, think of the atmosphere then.

I completely 100% agree with you. I would LOVE the Emirates to be as atmospheric as the Bridge or even Highbury in it's day. But for some reason the Arsenal fans don't sing, shout or jeer. As a relatively long term Arsenal fan, it's the most frustrating thing to see.

I don't really like how you assume I'm one for comfort when I go to a match, because you couldn't be further from the truth.

Well yeah, I don't know you personally, but I know that most of the Arsenal fans just sit there and let them be entertained, don't get behind the team at all, don't cheer or anything like that, which is why I much prefer the Bridge over the Emirates and most other BPL stadiums

Unfortunately a lot could be said about Chelsea fans, I've supported them since I was born but in my area there are barely any fans that have been to Stamford bridge, but it's the same for Arsenal, United etc, a slim amount of their fans have been to OT etc. I just wish I lived close enough to go to more games.

Don't get me wrong, I love watching my team play. We play some of the most beautiful football in the world and to disregard that is just plain stupid. But a little more singing wouldn't go a miss.

Off-topic here: Why do you feel the new to downvote every single one of my posts? Seems a little bit childish.

If I disagree with one of your posts, i'll click that I disagree with it - that's what it's there for. If I agree with it, I'll click that I agree with it lol

Of course, I'm not knocking your football, agreed on your day, you can play some world class football but got a bit lucky today, eh? I hear that you were lucky to get the 3 points (Mind you, it was a palace fan that said that lol)
