Bit more lively for England now, Townsend making some good runs down the pitch for Llana, Rooney and Sturridge. We might be in the game more if Hodgson picked a better defence.

EDIT: Meanwhile Zlatan Ibrahimovic 2-2 Cristiano Ronaldo haha

Welbeck!? WELBECK!? Dafuq... You would have Townsend over Walcott and Welbeck over Lallana?

Welbeck plays well for a England, although he has a poor recored at club level he does but a good shift in and links up well.

All Walcott can do is run. Nothing else, Townsend can get past players not forgetting he actually has a final product.

... Walcott has scored and assisted a lot more at International and club level than Townsend. So saying the only thing he can do is run is a bit off the mark.

Walcott has been at the top for a couple of years now, Townsend's only just finding his best form, you should know Walcott's final delivery is shocking and he struggles to get past people. But it depends who we play, against a team playing deep Townsend any day because Walcott would be useless but a team playing a high line Walcott.

People forget that Walcott is still only 24, only two years older than Townsend. Walcott has been scoring goals and assisting for a long time, as I said at both International and club level. Walcott's delivery could be improved, but it's not 'shocking'. He definitely warrants a place in the England starting line-up. His pace also gives him the extra edge. It causes opposition defences to play differently. I feel as if opposing defenders saw Townsend instead of Walcott, they'd be happier.

I just think your saying all this because who Walcott players for, this is Townsend's 1st proper season at Spurs, Walcott very rarely gets past his man he just runs down the line, Townsend's possesses better passing, shooting, crossing dribbling, his all round technique is better and he has explosive power and Walcott isn't much quicker.
Personally (As a defender) I would rather play against Walcott, all he does is run down the line, you just can't predict what Townsend is going to do.

Yeah but Townsend is far too greedy. I have a couple of friends who support Spurs and they have all said they'd much rather see Lamela feature because Townsend shoots too often and doesn't score enough - same with England. Walcott assists more and scores more for England. You can't deny the facts. Just because Townsend has had a few decent games for England, it doesn't fully warrant his place. I think you're jumping on the Townsend bandwagon far too quickly. 3 games doesn't tell you all you need to know about a player.

Walcott deserves the starting position on the right wing. Well, that's just my opinion - and no, before you say "blah blah blah you're biased" I'm stating the facts.

Spurs friends(Y)

Townsend is just an impact player, and if you could read I already said it depends who we play against, hardly jumping on the bandwagon.

I don't even get why your replying you asked who I would have in my squad? I would have Townsend.

What does this prove? His all round finishing is terrible hahahaha and if you can't agree on that then you clearly have no meaning like most your other posts.

If messi wins the Ballon D'or then it is a clear fix, he is out until January and Ronaldo has been playing fantastic this season and he's shown that tonight.
