It should be an amazing game, sadly I will miss it

I can see it going either way, hopefully Lukaku can get on the scoresheet.

Strong from Hazard and Oscar so far, hopefully we can get more goals so we can go above Liverpool on goal difference.

Lamela is such a waste of money. For the same price they could have bought so many better players.

For the price they paid, Spurs would have expected an instant or quick impact from him, but to say he was a waste of money is ludicrous.

He hasn't hit the ground running as he, the club and the fans would want him to, but it sometimes takes players a while to adjust to new surroundings and settle; especially South Americans. It's a completely new life, teammates, surroundings, food, culture and language, it's certainly not an easy thing to adjust straight away.

This is the kind of knee-jerk reactions in football today that are making the game a joke, nobody seems to have any patience anymore.

He's not a bad player at all though from what I've seen of him prior to joining Spurs, another Argentine who failed to show his true worth but who was a world class player was Juan Veron. Perhaps it won't work out for Lamela in England, but he'll go on to have a good career regardless in my opinion.

As poor as Spurs have been, City have been great, they really do have the players to tear most teams apart. Their squad is scary.

Spurs SHOULD have expected a ready made player for that price. Look at Hazard, he cost the same amount and he went to Chelsea at the same age, and performed very well in his first season. They're both similar sort of players. In my opinion, he was never worth the money - or not at the time they bought him, at least.

Anyway, it's not just Lamela who's playing awfully. Soldado has one goal in open play this season, and that seriously isn't good enough for a 26 million striker. Not even mentioning Paulinho, Holtby and Capoue. They've all been awful too. The only great signing they made was Eriksen.

He's 21, he won't be the finished article until a few years. He should be making some impact though for his price tag, that I do agree with. Rather than judging him on his first few months, judge him on the second half of the season and the beginning of next.

I agree though, he isn't worth 30 Million, that's over inflated transfer fees for you though, and a lot of that price tag will be down to future potential of Lamela.

Sometimes that happens when you bring a lot of new players in, there's no or a lack of chemistry, and they struggle to get going as a team. Again, it's just down to settling in with each other and getting used to playing with each other.

Spurs haven't been terrible, but for what they spent and the players they have they should be doing better, the second half of the season will be big for them.
