Anyways, I'm thinking of some unique ideas for a custom '88 300ZX. Out there and wacky ideas. Got any?

umm we're not lying. Diesel's make crazy amounts of torque just stock.

dodge has over 850 stock, powerchoke has 800, duramax has 765.

With diesels all you need is a tuner to turn up the fuel and to change a few settings in the computer to make a lot of power.

american trucks are crap js.... youtube.com/watch?v=IzPNingdQBs

Your opinion. Im not a fan of dodge tho. p.s, tug of war's are about traction, not the vehicle itself.

duramax cant be too crap if it made 1086 horsepower on a stock bottom end before blowing up. it made 1086 horsepower like 2 runs before this and they just kept running it till it blew. it made 900 on the last pull.

im not talking about power now, but really what is the point of a massive pickup with crap traction, and not 4wd the whole point of a pickup is for it to be a utility vehicle for use on farms etc

It's all about the tires dude, I see duramax's beating cummins, powerstrokes beating duramax's, duallys beating srw 3500's, etc.

I don't see how a tug of war defines a truck though. Trucks (especially diesel) are just like what you said, a utility vehicle for essentially anything..farming, towing, etc.

If you were pulling a trailer with a few not-so-great tires (but not to the point where they are bald), that wont matter.

I will post some pictures of my build when i get it underway, my dodge will put down over 1500 hp and 1000 Torque on an industrial motor. duramax are not built to tug or pull due to the haft shafts, dodge built for tug and pull due to straight axels. also you do not need a tuner and fuel to make horspower you need cranshafts, egr delete head studs o ringes and sometimes dpending on how much horspower block stifners so you dont twist the block. not all about computer and fuel. also bigger heads and pistons. also making that much horspower he is on a dyno thats not getting that much horsepower to the ground he needs to run an actual computer and go to a parking lot or race track and race to see actual to ground horsepower and torque

pretty sure the IFS has nothing to do with how much it can pull.
If you're running a tuner then of course you 99% already have a dpf and egr delete. Head studs dont make you power, they just prevent shit from blowing up and making it bullet proof.

its about a 20% loss of horsepower from flywheel to your wheels. btw idk what you're talking about. A dyno is the most accurate way of measuring horsepower and torque lmao.

Good luck getting insurance for a 1.9TDI, I got quoted almost 5 grand for a 1.4 Diesel fiesta, Insurance in the UK is insane, Better off with an older car (70s-90s) they seem to be cheaper.

Do you enjoy your Chrysler 200? I only ask because my rental car is a 2013 Chrysler 200 C and I absolutely despise it. Its slow, shifts weird, and the interior is complete crap.

the insurance cannot be ragistered under your dads name and your dad as the main driver, and if you were the main driver on the policy there is no way it would be that cheap unless it was provisional insurance
