whatcha got under the hood?

I agree, street cars are the best. My dad has a 76 nova ss that's pro street. Big barely legal slicks on the back and a stingray cowl induction hood w/ a 383 stroker powering it all. It squawks the tires every time he shifts.

edit: might aswell post a pic of it.

I had just finished the car with a 406 cu in small block 14 to 1 compression was laid off so had just small mechanical camshaft and dart cylinder heads 1050 cfm carb ran 11:50's @ 120mph 456 rear gear 28 x 10.5 slicks not very streatable with the motor I had in it but man is it fun to drag race it street or strip turbo 400 transmission car weighting 3600lbs with me in it and full tank of gas I been meaning to upload some videos just havent had time thank you for your reply and nice looking nova.

yeh thanks.

He has a turbo 400 aswell but only 11.5:1 compression ratio in his 383. Has a holley 750 double pumper w/ hydraulic lifters and camshaft and aluminum pistons with 4.88 gears. No clue what kind of heads on it though.

funny thing is it's been sitting for 10 years. Just got it going again this july and got it tuned up and my dad says he's gonna try to keep it on the road. He was going through a divorce + really busy at the time.

I have a video of the first start up, might upload.

Dang you got everything on that. Super jealous. Yeah but highly recommend keeping the oil running through that engine, especially with all those modifications.

All i got is a slightly modified Crown vic
But selling it now though.

yeah, after we got the firing order right (my dads been out of the game for like 10 years), it just started right up w/ no sputtering. He doesnt have electronic chokes so thats why he had to keep it going lol.
