whatcha got under the hood?

I agree, street cars are the best. My dad has a 76 nova ss that's pro street. Big barely legal slicks on the back and a stingray cowl induction hood w/ a 383 stroker powering it all. It squawks the tires every time he shifts.

edit: might aswell post a pic of it.

I had just finished the car with a 406 cu in small block 14 to 1 compression was laid off so had just small mechanical camshaft and dart cylinder heads 1050 cfm carb ran 11:50's @ 120mph 456 rear gear 28 x 10.5 slicks not very streatable with the motor I had in it but man is it fun to drag race it street or strip turbo 400 transmission car weighting 3600lbs with me in it and full tank of gas I been meaning to upload some videos just havent had time thank you for your reply and nice looking nova.

yeh thanks.

He has a turbo 400 aswell but only 11.5:1 compression ratio in his 383. Has a holley 750 double pumper w/ hydraulic lifters and camshaft and aluminum pistons with 4.88 gears. No clue what kind of heads on it though.

funny thing is it's been sitting for 10 years. Just got it going again this july and got it tuned up and my dad says he's gonna try to keep it on the road. He was going through a divorce + really busy at the time.

I have a video of the first start up, might upload.

Sorry for bad quality, its an old picture
good to see older cars and i see you had posted 383 with 500hp ? mine is the silver car with about that i built since i was 17 and still have the care today
very nice 70 Camaro

WJL sweet looking Nova!

Yea your car looks really nice, and I was told 500 hp but its hard to tell unless I put it on a dyno. I've driven my uncles hot rod which has 480 hp and mine feels like it has more and he agrees so since we were told that and it feels like it we just say 500.

No, I've never ran it at the track, but I'd like to, it's my daily driver

Just picked up this bad girl today. 2010 Chevy Camaro 2LT with an RS package.

I'm sosososos happy I got this. I'm eventually going to get the wheels powder coated black but that's about it for modding it.

Here's some pictures I took when I took her down to the Lake today.

How long did that take you to save for, or did you have some help from parents? lol.

Sick ride though, I'd love to have that car.

My mom split the down payment with me and I'm going to be making the payments on it. Thank you
