I honestly believe he can be a great addition, he has excellent work rates and fits in with our new philosophy perfectly. He's prolifically scored past big teams showing composer. Not exactly expensive and at the age of 21 he still has much to improve on.

Snatched him right from Liverpool aswell.

Chelsea do not need him, you need strikers. Purchasing players you do not need and loaning out over 20 players is very strange.
not at all they have very good replacements for when the older players retire also think about the u21 teams and u18 and that lot good for them too

It has nothing to do with that. Why would Mourinho want to sell a really good football player then replace him with a similar less capable person (Mata>Salah). I can't see Salah getting into the first team considering there is nothing wrong with Chelsea's midfield.

I don't think you fully understand the concept. Mata(although I'm gutted to see go) has gone due to he low work rates and lack of ability to defend. Mourinho wanted to play him on the right but he was useless there. We've shipped him to Utd for a lot of money in the hope he takes points of all our rivals.
Salah is a natural Right sided player who is young and can play either middle on the right(where Chelsea lack in midfield) and has excellent work rates.

-_- Mata didn't suit the play style also Salah is one for the future bench player max for now

Didact wrote Well done Salah. You could of made a name for yourself at Liverpool, now you will just gather dust on Chelsea's bench.

As for our executive boards approach to obtaining Salah, i am extremely disappointed with how we deal with transfers.

I have to say he would be better suited going to Anfield, Rodgers is assembling an array of good, technically sound attacking players, makes more sense to go there than Chelsea where he will be back up/squad player. Nevertheless, seems a decent player from what I've seen, still young and still has a bit to do before being called a top player. He needs to add a level of consistency from what I've heard; he seems to have great games against the top teams and thrives from the pressure but is pretty disappointing against the lower sides. Time will tell, will no doubt be a good signing in my view though.

Good signing in Salah, looking forward to seeing him in action! Even better that we stole him from Liverpool.

Normally I'm unsure about the business we do, but this jan it's been spot on.

Salah(from what I've seen) fits nicely into our philosophy, hardworking, willing to track back, composed and can keep his width and has a great turn of pace. At his age he can still improve.

A lot of people say we don't need any midfielders but we do lack talent on the right side. Hopefully not anymore.
