You obviously don't watch football very often... Cleverly has played in the centre of midfield for united this season (not in an 'attacking' midfield role) bar one game against City at the start of the season where he played on the left wing!

Allen has played the majority of the games this season also in a central midfield role, 7 games out of the 11 he has played, he was in a CM role, 4 of those was a more defensive midfield role

Cleverly is one of the worst players I've ever seen at old trafford, and i'm a really big united fan. However, Allen is not worth the 17m you payed for him, and I know you wish to try to justify it but as of yet you can't. I'd like to comment on, however, the potential Januzaj has, 500,000 euros

Let's be serious though it's been pretty dismal for Liverpool since the 80s.
