I know it's only transfer gossip but this is exciting as a Chelsea fan.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has identified Atletico Madrid's Diego Costa, Bayern Munich's Mario Mandzukic and Paris St-Germain's Edinson Cavani as his three striker targets this summer after giving up on signing Wayne Rooney from Manchester United.

I would happy if we got just one of them, if we got 2 or even 3 all of them that would just be a deadly attacking force. Mourinho could spend up to 30-40 million on any one of them.

I would say any of them, all the type of players we need Cavani won't be going no where cheap, I fully expect him to stay and eventually take over Ibrahimovic. I feel Costa would be the best choice by time the summer comes a lot more ST's will be available.

Cavani is seriously overrated.

Cavani is seriously overrated.


Hmm, 17 goals in 26 games in the league isn't a bad record. I understand its the French League but a lot of those have been sub appearances. 104 goals in 138 apps for Napoli isn't bad either. I've never really watched him enough to make a judgement.

Really so you would rather him go and have no replacements? I agree his form as of late as been poor but you cant really replace him with many better LB's after all there isn't many out there. Ideally I would like us to sign Shaw and use Cole as back up until Shaw fully settles and improves and allow Cole to retire.
