As a Chelsea fan, this is a good result if it stays like this, keeps us relatively in it, if we can beat Liverpool at Anfield

Liverpool deserved the win and I'm happy we won it, stupid red card but what can you say the ref made too many poor decisions.
No they didn't. City should have had two penalties and Suarez should have been off after the dive.

Pfffft Fernandinho elbowed in the first half and only got a yellow, that's assault anywhere else but the pitch. We deserved the win played you off the field in the first half, second half wasn't great but we stuck at it and showed everyone we title contenders.
No extra 27 seconds for the Henderson sending off ? Two stonewall penalties not given. Three attempts of simulation dive by Suarez. No 2nd yellow card given. Clattenburg bent... I don't think any team deserved 3 points. You guys dominated in the first half and we REALLY dominated in the second.

Also, Kompany didn't push down a player (Suarez). It was once again, a dive by Suarez.

you can't complain about 27 seconds since there should have been 4 tops added on anyway and you complain about the referee's but if you look back to the fixture back at the ethihad liverpool had a fair goal dissalowed for offside when he was miles onside and then last week against southampton you had a goal allowed when silva was miles offside. what i'm saying is that things always even themselves out

Henderson's red was a red. Suarez should have been off for diving whilst on a red - ref gave a man city free kick but no card? That's wrong imo, he has to either give a yellow for diving or give it a foul. Skrtel punched the ball away, should have been a man city penalty, but would have been very hard for the ref to see it.

Only my opinions on all of them

On the reply all you can see is Kompany holding and pushing him down by his t-shirt, and I agree Dannyb93 they got lucky when we played them at home. The ref was all on there side about time the ref decided to give us decisions.

Suarez was dramatic but I don't think he dived could've gone either way.

He dived when on a red once and the ref gave a free kick - should have been off for that. The kompany one was a foul, but Suarez dived like he'd been shot a thousand times. He cheated nobody but himself out of that one. If he didn't act so theatrical, he probably would have gotten the penalty

I'm sorry but I don't see how 3 red cards, and two penalties evens out an onside goal and an offside goal. I don't take anything away from Liverpool. They played good. I don't however, think they played well enough for 3 points.

You've gone completely limp after having your shirt grabbed? Odd, because I haven't.

i agree that suarez should have been off and i hope rodgers has a proper go at him for diving. hendersons was a red because it was two footed. the punch i think was impossible to give because no-one could see it except maybe the linesman and the city players didn't claim for it

You just contradicted yourself saying it was a foul and a dive, which means it wasn't a dive because he wouldn't of dived as it was a foul.

Yeah I suppose so, I was mainly talking about the Kompany challenge in the box, Suarez as usual being a bit dramatic but it could have been a penalty.

Either way no point crying over spilt milk, Liverpool got 3 points and I'm glad about it, it meant so much more to them IMO especially given Hillsborough.

I really hope they go on to win the league now.
