They spent 30 million on Shaw who is unproven and nowhere good enough for United YET, when they could have good a world class left back in Ashley Cole for free.. |

Everyone is saying the reason for us not doing good at the WC is because the amount of foreigners in the bpl, well was that the case in 1970,1974, 1978, 1982, 1986, 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2006 ???
Maybe face the fact that we england aren't a good national team |

We've never had any amazing players.. The best we've had in recent years is maybe Lampard, Gerrard or Rooney... They've done well in their country but have never been anywhere near good enough for the top level (ie Bayern, Real, Barca etc.) you look at countries like Germany and they have players like Ozil, Schurrle, Boateng etc. etc. but we've never produced any player of that quality |

The root of the problem is that our facilities in the UK aren't good enough, we need to encourage English kids to play football and give them the right training facilities. Look at Germany they have amazing facilities and have been producing world class players for decades |

Yes, it is the facilities. In Brazil and other south American countries every big team invests millions into facilities because a lot of great players come from South America. Also if you don't think it's the facilities/scouting in the UK then what do you think it is? |

Honestly guys, I really think in a World Cup or two England will be extremely good. This World Cup you weren't so hot, but you have players like Luke Shaw, Sterling and Ross Barkley. In a few years time that might be an extremely good side.
Your future is a lot brighter than USA's. |
