Unlucky Holland, niether team looked anything special. Not that this result will change anything as Germany will most probably destroy Argentina.

Sure Germany have a massive chance of winning now but let's not forget that it was only last week when Germany struggled to beat Algeria and couldn't even score in 90 minutes.

Germany I think are going to be favourites now but Argentina could still win it.

Germany change their style of play against different opponents so as for Algeria they and everyone else would've expected them to comfortably win, but when a team parks the bus it's hard to get around. As for the final Germany will play the exact same football as they did against Brazil and I doubt Argentina will be able to change much so I'm 90% sure Germany will bag this world cup.

Anyway for any British people supporting Argentina it was just last year they were ready for another battle for the Falklands.

Germany have a great opportunity now no doubt and are easily capable of going on to win the WC now and they have a incredible side (imagine if Reus etc weren't injured as well).

But it's 1 match and anything could happen tbh, also Argentina looked better defensively tonight and looked more solid as a team. They can definitely cause damage with the likes of Messi, Aguero, Di Maria, Lavezzi etc.

We will have to wait and see, hopefully we see some incredible football though and I just hope the best team wins whoever that may be.

If we are going to bring up History then I'm sure England fans aren't going to want Germany to win due to the rivalry and both world wars.

Them wars were completely different as people were brainwashed and at a time where democracy wasn't fully mobilised. As for Argentina They're trying reclaim land that has 90% of the population wanting to stay with Britain. Also as a country like Argentina with a huge majority of the population still ranking Britain as their biggest enemy.
