Just added in another monitor to my main rig...
Had it once before but had crappy monitors. So now i got 3 of the same i think it looks rather nice... About time i gave the 770's something to do. |

Frantically looking around my room for the Intel bracket, I managed to find all but one screw meaning the watercooling idea was now useless.
Luckily enough, no one liked my Artic Freezer 7 cooler on Gumtree to buy it meaning I could use that. Though, it needs to be changed ASAP since the cooler doesn't even make correct contact with the CPU. Stoopid mounting system. Future upgrades? TD02 - Next month hopefully.

First off, the instructions was vague and not very clear. With only 1 sentence with a few words per instruction, needless to say, I got confused a fair bit. This is probably the most I've ever raged at at a piece of hardware before. Il explain: The mobo had to come out just to get the backplate in [case fault & huge backplate] Screws where to fiddly to get in right Had to use electrical tape to hold the screws onto the backplate to allow me to put the rest of it back on Had to fight with the CPU block to get the screws in to the backplate screws - Actually a two man job. Stock fans sound like a jet engine at the lowest speed. You can imagine what its like at full speed. Now for just some issues. The very reason why I got this cooler is what screwed me over - Bloody thing is too thick. I thought it wouldn't get past the ram. I managed to fight with it more so the fans sit behind the RAM but it is defiantly touching the RAM a fair bit. Its a nice cooler, it sits on idle at 28 Degrees instead of 38 on my old cooler. Looks great but installation took way more time and effort than needed. |

Then a Samsung R580 on Windows 7 ultimate, both have 4 GB of Ram, and around 2000 mb of video ram each. I use My mac for bigger graphics projects, and my laptop for avatars and banners. |
