It's become rather common for the Chelsea fanbase to talk overtly optimistic about our title chances, some to the point where they believe it's already won (this isn't aimed specifically at you Complete). It's not a particularly healthy approach but it's somewhat understandable considering we've had very few reasons for BPL optimism of this degree within the last few years.
Still, that aside, I'm very excited for City's title challenge (and challenges for any other team that picks up some consistency). I'm sure they're fully aware that this current Chelsea squad is a real force and that nothing but perfection will de-rail our title charge. |

TBH though i thought we would win it before a ball was kicked anyway , I am a optimistic fan , But theres no point going into a season thinking "Were not going to win anything" so i go into any season expecting to get silverware and atleast challenge for other comps , If we dont then i dont complain or whatever as i know we cant win everything/every season so its fine BUT i still go into every season optimistic and being 6PTS ahead isnt going to change that , That being said again im not saying we will win it or we will win silverware this season , I enjoy watching CFC wethor we win or lose but all fans should be aiming for silverware. |

CompleteDesigns wroteAriGrande wrote i honestly think city will win the prem if Aguero stays fit and keeps playing how he is could easily have 30+ goals by end of season and win games for the team nasir has been good as well Doesn't matter, Aguero isn't out and they have those 9 points. But if you took away the Aguero points they'd be mid table and Arsenal without Sanchez would be 1 above relegation zone. Hoping United press for the top 2, I reckon United can beat city at home just need a special performance to surprise Aguero |

To join in with this argument/debate whatever you wanna call it.
This early in the season the titles is anyones. Chelsea possibly have the strongest team and are off to an amazing start but you never know what can happen once injuries hit and other teams pick up form. I understand why so many Chelsea fans are claiming to of won the league already, but some have become ridiculous. Seen on twitter a guy said that Chelsea are too good for the premier league now? wtf? TBH if City had a better manager I think they would be top of the league. If they played all their best players in the right position they would have an unreal team but no Pellegrini is clueless he plays the likes of David Silva in LM which is just madness. As for Aguero, his injury record is terrible. There is probably a 60% chance he will be out for at least a month later on in the season. This January window will be vital for some teams. If United sign the players they actually need instead of still going after Vidal, Depay etc they have a massive chance of winning the league, their attack can cause mayhem they just need to rest of the team to go with it. |

Well whoever wins the league either city or Chelsea will have 5 top division titles more than the other.
I hope out of the two Chelsea win it as I don't want City winning it again. |

Difficult game vs Newcastle today, very nervous
No Matic changes the game a lot - If we're going to lose before Christmas, this'll be the fixture to do it |

OhDiegoCosta wrote Difficult game vs Newcastle today, very nervous It does change our whole team , Is fabregas good enough to play deep alongside either mikel or rami (Instead of matic?) ,Is ivan going to have the chance to get foward as much (Or is that going to end up in us conceding) , It will be interesting to see if Fab does play in the DM spot with mikel or rami (Both downgrades on Matic) , If not does he play over oscar and we lose his ability? Just realised the team news is out , So mikel and fab play in the DM , Thats worrying imo i would of much preferred Rami there but on his game Mikel is an amazing DM (Think back to the champs leauge final) lets hope he gives that kind of performance today. I was fine with today even without Matic but im feeling a little nervous now , Im really glad oscar and willian play though , They can make the difference today i think both attacking and defending , Lets hope! |

Can't see Chelsea losing today although I do think it will be a scruffy draw |

Not a particularly brilliant half
Hazard has had some decent moments and Willian has come close but the absence of Matic couldn't be clearer Will take a 1-0 win, will be furious if we draw/lose regardless of the circumstances Newcastle down to their 3rd choice goalkeeper potentially aswell |
