You have to be deluded Brad, for once I see myself wanting to speak the same words as you!! Impeccable Valdes as our backup, I'm sorry but that's quite incredible. He's 32 and could carry on playing for the next 7-10 years, look at good old Edwin. Mind you, reckon he'll like playing second fiddle to De Gea? |

Yeah it will be a good signing although we don't need him. They're still saying if Real Madrid want De Gea they'll get him. Real Madrid and United are pretty much equal on the money side, as for fan base well it's proven we get the 2nd biggest average home ground every match and the survey which was taken about how many fans teams have. Man United don't really get their players stolen and definitely not by Real Madrid for our most Improved and prosperous player. I feel we'll get a player off them then us maybe Raphael Varane but no player offers for him unless they want Anderson. The only two player I'd accept him going for would be Sergio Ramos and Ronaldo any other player than them two would have enough of a significant impact on our team. It's tough to replace Goalkeepers. |

Liverpool need someone to do that, I honestly don't know why they didn't show more interest in signing Valdes |

You have to be deluded Completely agreed, you'll see a lot of people thinking LVG is mad for signing a keeper when De Gea is on the form he is, but you've hit the nail on the head here, this signing is great for three reasons - 1. Most importantly, it will keep De Gea on his toes, because as we all know - form is temporary 2. It effectively neutralises the opportunity for rivals to strengthen their team - as stated Arsenal and Liverpool could really have used Valdes, and now the opportunity is gone 3. He is unbelievable value for his quality - an unfortunate knee injury almost kicked him out the game altogether, and now he's back and because of it he is a huge amount cheaper than he would've been So all in all - Fairplay LVG! |

Valdes is the first Van Gaal signing that is designed to solve long term problems. Splashing the cash in the summer seemed as though the club were merely focused on instant success and scoring goals at any cost; this signing shows a shift in his ideology towards stability and "the United way". Whilst I'm still a little doubtful of him, I'm impressed that Van Gaal is adapting to the club's ethos, good move.
On another topic, we better obliterate Newcastle on the weekend |

After what happened against Newcastle last time and getting beat bad by Spurs, I can safely I think Mourinho has said what he needs to say and Chelsea will go back to winning ways... Unfortunately |

Ched Evans will no longer be signing for Oldham.
The reasons are as follows: - Massive social media fury, all directed solely on Oldham. - Death threats and threats of violence against staff and board members. - Someone threatening to rape the directors daughter. Disgusting that people will get away with this, absolutely disgusting. |

Fielding wrote Ched Evans will no longer be signing for Oldham. The thought saddens me, seems like Mr. Evans can no longer even be part of society - and the worst part, these cretins sending in death threats will think they have done a good deed.. and the threat to rape the director's daughter? That man should be euthanised. |
