You say about andre not wanting to stay on the bench but will them players want to? How many times have we all thought Dzeko would be leaving at the end of the season though? , And even if city do play only 1 ST , Its not just about Dzecko - Would bony or Jovetic be happy to be 3rd choice , Bony was top goalscorer of 2014 wasent he? , Jovetic was doing amazing in Serie a and wanted by a lot of clubs , All 3 are 26 or younger , In 1-2 years each of these STs should be in the prime of there playing career. Why would anyone of them (Id assume jovetic) accept being 3rd place? We have drogba - A guy who is considering retirement as our 3RD option so we have no problem (Though he seems to play as second choice , Remy barely plays which is confusing) The interview was strange , He didnt say anything negative and everything went fine but i just wasent happy with it when i came out , He said to me he would offer me a conditional offer which meant he would set me a brief (Just like a client would) id have to do it , Send it to him and we would see how good it is and wethor or not i got accepted , Today i checked my emails and i have a email saying he talked to his colleagues and i have been offered a unconditional offer meaning ive been accepted with no need to do the brief so obviously a awesome outcome (It was my first choice) but i defiantly didn't think it went well haha. |

Oh and to keep the interview part a little bit footy releated he actually asked who i supported (As i had a lot of football graphics in the portfolio) , He said he was a villa fan "If i liked chelsea , Id probably be more interested in football too" xD Anyway thanks for asking |

True, but your and my points kind of intertwine - he's a young(ish), top quality striker who deserves to have a lot of game time, god knows why he hasn't left yet, perhaps he values the prospect of winning stuff (from the sidelines) more than playing regularly - who knows. But yeah, you've basically just stated exactly why we all expect him to leave season in season out, but I personally think that signing Bony will be the final nail in the coffin come the end of the season. and Congrats on the offer mate, even if it is conditional an offers an offer, also its a great sign he's asking you about your personal interests! but enough of the uni talk, back to footy! |

Not a big fan of talksport but when your in work all day you have to do something to keep you from being bored.
They just talked about Messi coming to the PL , Someone said about FFP and they conluded that there is no way , If messi wanted a PL move and a PL club wanted to do it , Thee is no way it could not be done ( FFP couldent stop it) and id agree. There are so many ways around it (Sponerships , partnerships etc) , They talked about if it happened maybe a club will be fined like City (But they have the money to pay it + they then have messi) and they also mentioned the fact we have 30+ players on loan + the fringe players on our bench/in our squad + the other youth players we could easily obtain a huge sum of moeny from that + then the usual earnings of a club (Champions leauge / PL etc) + the fact the money is split over a few years. Im not saying it is going to happen , but it is 100% possible. |

Would absolutely love Messi in the Premier league but I highly doubt it will ever happen unless there is some sort of crisis at Barca and they just go down hill.
Chelsea would be his most likely destination but they have Costa, so do they need him? probably not. Would you rather spend 200m on a striker who will help your team but not needed or 200m on several players who can boost every position? |

Do we need him - Nope Do i want him - Not really but if we do get him it would be huge . The thing is though this messi deal is once in a lifetime , Its not as if CFC are thinking "Were going to spend 200m this season , Who do we want" , We are not planning on spending but if messi comes available then im sure we would put the cash up. But even if we were going to spend 200M , Who could we get that would improve us? |
