You have to give credit to Sam Allardyce and West Ham.

They all wanted him gone by the end of last season but he's listened to the fans, made a few signings and now they are one of the toughest teams to beat in the league because of how physical they are. He's managed to get a group of mainly average players playing well together and it's paying off big time, doubt anybody expected them to be up there competing for a spot in Europa league at the beginning of the season.
