Of course i would take Schweinsteiger at Chelsea, but do we really need him? We are mainly playing a 2 man midfield with Matic and Fabregas, with Oscar in the 10. We just signed Cuadrado another wide player, which again suggests we are not going to be playing 3 in the midfield unless we sell Oscar? Who is 7 years younger than Schweinsteiger and signed a new contract last year.

No, but in the current day and age of football when we are playing 3 games per week, it is very rare (or very hard at least, a lot of games this season we have been poor due to the same 11 playing every week) that the same 11 will start every single week. You need a world class SQUAD of players. That is our only current weakness, look at a team like City who have Aguero, Bony, Jovetic & Dzeko who are all 30mil players all occupying 1 position. We need depth like that in our squad

So who does Alonso replace? Matic or Fabreags?

Gotze for Oscar? No.

Neuer for Courtois, debatable but i would say yes.

Ribery, Robben, and Muller, yeah either one for Willian.

Benatia for Cahill, yeah.

Lahm for Ivanovic, yeah.
