Many rumours about Pogba and Ronaldo but I'm gonna ignore them. Let's get the numbers right... 145,500,000 67,700,000 is 213,200,000 You this season and last season have spent: 118,300,000 105,909,000 Grand total of 224,209,000. You've spent more than us the last two seasons. We've just had little outsourcing. So your net spend will be much lower, sure, you've still spent more than us though |

Not here to look at hypotheticals though, the cold facts are that you have spent an outrageous amount of money in the last 2 seasons, have a poor squad balance and are struggling to compete for 4th currently. Where-as Chelsea have a decent squad depth in all positions, perhaps CB's a bit shaky, but are more importantly the strongest team in the UK by quite a margin atm. |

I agree, I am not suggesting we are anything but a shambles at the moment. Just simple maths to suggest that whilst Complete can harp on about us spending big mone for two seasons, they have surpassed that in their last two seasons and have done regularly for many years. |

To be fair to you as a side, I'd say you're not even a complete shambles. Yes you are vastly under-performing given the status of the club. However, everyone must go through a transitional period, its just unfortunate that yours is on the back of tons of other premier league teams finally waking up and competing (Spurs, Southampton etc). A good example of a shambles right now would be Everton |

Unfortunately I think the game we had that could inspire our players for the rest of the season was 6 months too late! |

It is a shame, I mean, I can't say I enjoy United out performing us, but I do like to see teams perform to expectation for the sake of English football, and even for the sake of competition, to push teams around them to perform. Seems like none of that is going on this year, with everyone lost in the dust of Chelsea.
I think it would be fair to say that coming out victors against Liverpool next week is imperative to your plight for 4th. I think the battle could genuinely be won or lost there. Thats not to say anything is a certainty in the prem, but these are the games which are as big as they come this year. |

I can see us winning if we field the same team that beat Spurs. It could be beneficial to add Di Maria to the team instead of Mata, plainly since he is a bit bigger and a bit faster.
We have the ability, and Smalling + Young + Fellaini are in stellar form! Imagine if we're drawing 1-1 and Falcao bags infront of the Kop end! |
