So, back on topic, how can you say that you 'never hear about Chelsea legends from the 80s/90s'? Here's just a small few that I'm sure every proper football fan will know
Brad- wroteRoyaI wrote No, I'm saying that your current success was ultimately brought upon by Abramovich. The Chelsea that we know today is relatively modern, you never hear about Chelsea legends from the 1980s-1990s do you? That's because they were mediocre at best. You don't see documentaries and films being made about Chelsea 20 years ago, do you? Whilst clubs like United, Liverpool and Arsenal have club legends you hear about all the time, have documentaries and films about their history. |

Lounge wrote He said Or because Chelsea have a Russian sugar daddy who floods the club with money. Chelsea were crap 20 years ago. Which is just incorrect , I gave him my opinion. Why does that suggest im angry or annoyed or whatever i apperently am? |

More importantly, why does it matter where Chelsea were at as a club 20 years ago. Every year, only one club can win the Prem. This year, it looks as if Chelsea will. Any other piece of trivia is irrelevant. |

Here's just a small few that I'm sure every proper football fan will know I wouldn't count Vialli, Jones, Poyet, Tore-Andre Flo or Gullit as legends. I would count someone as a legend, if they've played 300+ times for the club and have spent the majority of the time with the club. I see what you mean, they are all really good players, I just wouldn't count them as legends. |
