HTAFC wrote There is genuinely a rumour going around at the moment that Glen Johnson will join Barca in summer when his contract runs out...

It came from a Spanish report so obviously I don't know how reliable that is.

They are either crazy or recruiting ball boys

Can't wait for the day he leaves us.

1 team let me down on a 15-fold accumulator that would've won me over a grand.

Anyone else see the Gibraltar goal? Was a really good one haha, their fans and players were so happy.

The assist was via a Lawyer and the goal by a Police man

Just gonna throw in here.

I really enjoyed the LFC All Star game today. Great to see everyone enjoying it and all the money going to charity.

Interesting. Many people seem to slate United for having 364m in debt (I think it is that)? Funnily enough, no one mentioned that Chelsea are 958m in debt.

The owners of each club could pay it off respectively, but both leave it. Interesting.

Chelsea's debt is in the form of interest free loans with no fixed repayment terms, direct to the owner. So it is not directly comparable to the bank debt that most clubs hold. As the assets of the club are less than the debt, it makes it unlikely that Abramovich would walk away (lest he make an enormous loss) any time soon. It is likely that he is keeping an option on the debt in the long term, should something like a salary / transfer cap ever be introduced 10-15 years down the line, and European football becomes profitable like the NFL. IMHO.

% of the shirt sales for the top 10 players out of all shirts sold for premier league stars.
Not very Surprising United have 5 in the top 10 even when we're not doing brilliantly.
I wonder how Aguero got on there as Man city fans can't fill their stadium.

Even if United are not doing well, it doesn't really matter because you still have the biggest fan base by a mile in the PL so you will have the most shirt sales and since Di Maria is a record signing he should be at the top. Only really surprising one is De Gea, he's a brilliant keeper but I've never seen anyone walking around with a goalie shirt with De Gea on the back lol.
