Milner is a bit like Lampard in that respect that he always performs when you need him to. He's only 29 too, although it feels like he's been around forever!

Completely agree, Apparently rodgers is up next to go for danny ings, I do rate him but don't think signing someone like him will get us anywhere into that top 4

We need to go 'BIG' but attracting them sort of players will be hard, No champions league, other clubs like arsenal, chelsea, city, united could convince and usually swipe players from us with a instant.

Exactly. You hit the nail on the head. Just like what has happened in the past with Willian, Depay etc. etc.

Ings never really did it in the Prem last season, I thought he was pretty poor for the large majority of it, I don't see how he would get anywhere near the Liverpool team, even with Balotelli and Lambert his only two contenders... The only reason you might pay more than about 2-3mil for him would be because he's English

Like we did with andy carroll - Paid more because he is english and look how that worked out, a waste for 35 Million. We did good getting sturridge but been injury prone all this season

Liverpool currently looking at Luciano Vietto from Villareal who look's decent (Monitored him for last 3 years) But never made a move

See when we finished 7th, we still managed to sign Falcao (loan) and Di Maria, plainly because we were willing to pay over the odds for em. FSG won't sanction that amount of money being spent even though you have it, so I doubt you can compete for world class players.

Ings would be a good punt especially for under 5 mil. I'm just hoping we get Schneiderlin, Otamendi/Hummels, Clyne and a new ST.

Yeah Under 5 Million but I doubt we will even get him that cheap, Knowing Liverpool 15+ Million at least. Schneiderlin would be an excellent signing.

I saw a rumour in the liverpool 'Echo' - Our local paper we bidded 15 Million for clyne which was knocked back and our looking to improve that

Clyne would improve any team he went to, he's brilliant. I just hope that we challenge you, cause I doubt that it'd be any different to the Depay situation.

Milner is a amazing signing for liverpool.I honestly think heis one of citys most important players , He gives balance to the team and while he is never going to get headlines he can be one of the most important players in the team , A bit like willian IMO , people barely notice what he does , But take him out of the team and you realise how much you miss him.

Is the window open now yeah? , I rarely pay attention these days.
