They are just trying to agrevate united fans, and try and prove a point if they do actually end up signing them!

If we lined up like this we'd have a world class team, City don't have the grandeur.

De Gea
Darmian Smalling Otamendi Shaw
Schweinsteiger Schneiderlin
Pedro Mata Memphis
Rooney

world class depth

City as a club are nowhere near United but their players are on par if not better imo.

De Gea > Hart (If De Gea leaves I'd pick Hart over Romero and Valdes)
Zableta/Darmian (not picking between those, haven't seen Darmian enough)
Kompany > Smalling
Blind>Mangala (Assuming you remain w/ Blind CB, as Mangala is a liability)
Kolarov>Shaw (Kolarov has been a top performer for years, Shaw is the future)
Toure>Carrick/Schweinsteiger
Schneiderlin>Fernandinho
Silva>Mata
Sterling>Young (Young had a good season last year, still rate Sterling better)
Depay>Navas
Aguero>Rooney

Just my honest opinion, you'll probably disagree with some of that, most likely will be Toure>Carrick/Schweinsteiger as Toure was poor last season but I'd still rather have him over Carrick (who I do rate) and Schweinsteiger won't be starting every week imo.

I wouldn't be so confident players would pick United over City on their current teams.

David De Gea left out the squad and training with the reserves but he insists he wants to play for United.

I agree with some of your decisions but I think carrick is quality when he is on the pitch...

he is a completely different type of player comapred to YAYa so i dont really see how you could compare the two

Id pick carrick any day to hold the gap in between the defenders and midfielders!

If he wants to play , let him play

He isnt gonna perform badly for us just because he wants to go to madrid!

He wouldn't be fully focused because of the Madrid bids you's are receiving therefore unsettling him which leads to lack of concentration which leads to you's loosing goals.

United don't have a midfielder like Yaya, box to box wise. Fernandinho and Schneiderlin are the same type of players then you're left with with remaining midfielders who will start which is Toure/Carrick and Schweinsteiger.

I agree Carrick is a good midfielder, underrated imo but if you have a choice of Toure or Carrick you pick Toure, at least for me anyway.

If it was for scoring goals - Toure anyday

But if it was for a holding midfielder who needs to provide long balls and leadership then id go for carrick no questions asked!

You'd be mad not to pick Yaya he can do anything where as Carrick is more defensive than attacking.

United all ready have a player like that in Schneiderlin, effectively with Carrick playing they're near enough the same player. City have that in Fernandinho and Fernando but Toure is obviously going to start ahead of Fernando so that's why I had to compare Toure and Carrick as United don't have a Toure type player.
