Funny how if United get Jose all the people who would slag him while he was at Chelsea will suck up his arse like they've always liked him lol.

In general not aimed at any United fans here.

Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck's statement on Mourinho's sacking.
On Thursday, the difficult decision was made for Jose Mourinho to leave the club. I can assure you it was not a decision we took lightly. Nor was it a spur-of-the-moment decision; Mr Abramovich and the Board anguished over it for some time. We have recived many letters and emails from fans over the last few weeks expressing a variety of views.
Although we cannot respond individually to every communication, we apprecaite you taking the time to contact us with your thoughts, and we read and considered them all. Please believe me when I say the decision was made for no reason other than to do what we believe is in the best interests of this club.
We will not forget what Jose achieved here during two spells as manager. He has overseen our most famous triumphs and we will always have a huge amount of respect for him.
But the start we have made to this season has come as a major disappointment to the owner, the Board and Chelsea fans everywhere and I think it is fair to say nobody expected us to be in the position we are in the Premier League just before Christmas. Having been crowned champions last term, as well as winning the Capital One Cup, we all had high hopes for another successful season.
Now we have to look forward and, in order to make the most out of what remains of this campaign, we bleived a managerial chance was needed. There is still a great deal to play for - Premier League points, the FA Cup and the Champions League - and we want to give it everything in all those competitions.
We are one of the biggest clubs in the world and we are all determined, as a collective unit, to get back where we should be. We cannot do that without all of you behind us. We are all massive fans of Chelsea Football Club and we need to be together going forward.
We firmly belive we have the ability to turn this season around.
Not forgetting, of course, that we are in the holiday season, I would like to wish you and your families a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.

I've always maintained he was a great manager, however I've always said (especially to CompleteDesigns) that he is not, and never will be, as good as Fergie. Fergie is the GOAT, Mou is one of the top 2 in football right now.

Do you want mourinho at United? As boring football as van Gaal.

I don't think so, not yet anyway. I think LvG will still be in charge until Boxing day at least. Media appears to have briefed that next two results will determine his fate, which I think is stupid because two results won't change anything.

As for Jose to United, I'm half and half. He'll win things if he comes to United, but he's never far from controversy and unrest with some of the players, a bit like LvG. Play style is also not the most exciting, but he does get results (apart from this season obviously).

I still believe he wanted the job when SAF retired, even though he denies he'll ever manage an English club apart from Chelsea. We'll see.

Chelsea being linked with Pellegrini lol.

If we can't get Pep then i'd rather have Steve Holland than some fraud like Simeone.

He just said losing Mourinho is the equivalent to losing a family member. Jesus christ.
