I thought id take some of my hardware out of retirement and build something that would sit in a corner quietly and do its thing. Its a "server" [Il use that term very lightly] for Media watching and misc use. It was literally thrown together super quickly with no intention of colour matching and all that nonsense. With that in mind, here are the specs

CPU - Intel Core I5 4460
Motherboard - MSI Z97m Gaming
Cooler - Alpine 11GT
RAM - Mix of Corsair Vengeance [2 x 4GB] & Hynix [2 x 4GB]
PSU - HP 300W POS
Case - Fractal Design Arc Mini
HDD - WD 250GB [Temporary]

I plan to whack a couple of 2TB greens in there at some point so I can stream videos all around my home network. Im sure Il find other ways to use it too.

Them wires are not nice at all

My rig is not complete but you can sort of see some of the upgrades I've done over the past month but there is still way more to come so You'll get the full images later on in the month.

Desk's custom built, as is my PC. Monitors are 3 different sizes but I'm going to be buying 2 more monitors the same as the centre and end up wall mounting all 3. Also treated myself this Christmas and bought two new KRK Rocket Powered 5 speakers to go on the shelf above.

Can't post PC specs right now because I'm not at home

Got a new phone, So wanted to test the camera as i had a iPhone 4 and that was ancient. Anyway, My setup isnt fantastic but i like it and it does the job. I fully understand that people got beast Pc parts and stuff for christmas, But i never asked for any of that. Also, My PC is needing a clean out, I know that and will get round to doing it when i have spare time.

Now onto my specs:
