Balor wroteMercedes_Benz wrote "He did give notice and was told he did not have the right to give notice." Daniel Bryan wanted to leave WWE. "Meltzer added that Bryan was not allowed to give notice to WWE, as Bryans contract has been frozen due to an injury, a provision in Superstar contracts which helps WWE make up lost time when a talent is sidelined. If you recall, this is a similar situation Rey Mysterio found himself in when he was trying to leave WWE at the end of his last run. In Bryans situation, it appears very true that he cannot ask for his WWE release at this time due his frozen contract, and the only real way he would be able to get a release from the company is if he took WWE to court." I wish he would pull a Mark Henry tonight, but that most likely is not the case. Daniel Bryan is truly one of the greats, even if he didn't have that long to prove it. I really hope they give him a HOF spot some day. He knocked down doors for other talent. I don't think people like Sami Zayn and AJ Styles would have much of a chance without Daniel Bryan. He, along with Punk, changed the way they scout for talent. I wish DB the best. |

I'm very saddened by Bryan's departure from WWE. Hope they have him like a commentator or something in the future to keep him on TV. Seems like a genuine lad, doubt he will go to another company from what he said in his speech. All I can say is Thank You Daniel Bryan! We will miss you. I will mention though for people saying WWE is crap now is naive because as much I like Bryan he hasn't wrestled in little under a year so to say it's crap because he left is stupid. |
