I've had this out with ye before mukka, I'm really not that passionate about my national team, It doesn't bother me that we aren't there. It's quite normal for us now. I care far more about club football.

I just don't like the attitude of the England supporters, not necessarily you but when your watching the games the commentators talk about England during other matches, everything is referenced to England, it's embarrassing. The pundits write teams like Sweden off and they shouldn't.

The English act like martyrs, everyone saying the Colombians played dirty which I agree to an extent but the English were cheating, for example Maguire in the box. They play for the fouls and it's not enjoyable to watch.

I think playing for fouls has become the game now though you see them all at it, they did play very scummy tho, scuffing the penno spot, trying to kick away the free kick foam shit, fouling and at time wresting our players.

I normally dont get overly invested in Englands performance because it usually only leads to disappointment but for once we seem like we could go far in this.

I feel the same about the pundits and commentators tho, its not all about England, if i chose to watch a game that we are not in i really dont want to sit and listen to how good you think Kane is etc. If its a passing mention like, "Lukaku, the man who is chasing Harry Kane for the Golden Boot" or "Sweden have won meaning they will now face Southgate's men on Saturday" but when they are going all in like "Forsberg is a great passer, this is something i feel Trippier needs to be looking at as he will be up against him soon, he tends to favour his left leg which is where Trippier should be watching" It really gets to be too much so i mostly mute the commentators when i watch the game, they talk a lot of shite.

I think too that if Scotland, or Wales etc. was this far it would be the same, you guys would be saying the same stuff and being all hyped up, like when we played yous last and Griffiths scored a couple, everytime football got mentioned a Scot would bang on about it even tho it ended level and meant nothing.
