It buys you happiness to an extent. That's my opinion. Sure you can have anything you ever wanted, but to me your nothing with out family. I'd rather take my family over an amount of money.

There is a good saying about this
"Money doesn't buy you happiness, but it sure does help"

I don't think it's a common scenario where people can be filthy rich in exchange for all of their family dying.
I think having a ton of money would mean happiness for me, because I can use that money on my family and make their dreams come true.

Whether people choose to deny it, in this capitalist society we live in, money buys happiness since people consider things such as cars, mansions, clothes, shoes and all those other things as the center of their happiness.

From what I've seen, the only ones who don't need money for happiness are those which aren't part of a capitalist government, like those kids in poor countries people take pictures of. They can find happiness in other things (family, friends, etc.) and they don't care about money since they were born and raised in a social environment where money isn't found in great quantities.

So, all in all, money buys happiness for those who have been raised in a society where money is what gets you the things that society says are "good" to have.

In my experience, my hours at my job have gone down and that (among other things) have depressed me. You may find it stupid but with no money, I can't support myself (get new clothes, buy V-Bucks, etc.) and I need assistance from my parents so I can stay afloat. In the world I live in, it's very depressing to not have money.
