Hi my proper school shoes broke last week so I have been wearing cheap plain black lace up plimsolls as school shoes they only cost £3.50 from sports direct.
I actually prefer them to normal school shoes so should I just ask / tell my mum not to worry about getting me new school shoes soon?
My best friend also wears plimsolls as school shoes and a few other Friends wear vans.

My school has a jumper and polo shirt style uniform I'm in secondary school.
