I remember back in the day, 48 hr codes did expire when you got them with a game. I don't remember how long it took, but for some reason I remember them not working after a period of time.

Another thing, Microsoft started giving 2 week codes if I'm not mistaken. The 48 hr codes are just trials, and since you have already tried a gold membership on that account the trial code will not work anymore.

Finally, you got them G2A, and even though they are a pretty damn trusted site, they still get complaints a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if the codes weren't even real. What you can try? Use one of the trial codes on a new account and see it it works.
