Im not the most informed when it comes to PCs, but my GTX 1060 has a 3gb ram. Is this not ideal when it comes to competitive gaming? Price of upgrading? If someone could explain this to me id appreciate it. |

Depends what you want to play you could play most games i'm not sure on max but decently high settings (Correct me if i'm wrong @ anyone) But it should do just fine. But if you're wanting to max out graphics wise you might want to upgrade. I have a 1070
amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-GAMING-Su...a+gtx+1070 (Link to one I have) Anyway check around your local selling sites like craigslist you should be able to find one for a good price if you plan on upgrading. |

Eli is right, your definitely better off with a 1070 whether it be the ti (overclocking) or just the base one. They run anywhere from 500-700. Best place to find great prices is www.pcparts.com
(I have a 1070ti and I can run any game on max settings) now do know that your computer itself has some to do with that as well, processor and ram etc. However dont even consider a 1080 unless you want to do 4k graphic gaming. |

What games are you playing? What monitor do you have? On a 1080p 60 Hz monitor, a 1060 will be fine with almost every game. |

I have the 1060 6 gig, and I can run just about anything you throw at it, some games ultra or so some games just normal, but it gets the job done, I'm not all for playing everything on ultra. |

Operate wroter00t wrote What games are you playing? What monitor do you have? On a 1080p 60 Hz monitor, a 1060 will be fine with almost every game. If your minimum FPS is above the refresh rate of your monitor, you're in good shape. However, there are benefits to having frame rate well above the refresh rate. blurbusters.com/faq/benefits-of-f...resh-rate/ Decide what level of performance you want and how much you want to spend. |
