For what you're looking to do you will definitely need a higher budget... are you looking for a desktop or laptop? |

You don't have to up your budget. If £300 is all you've got, then that's all you've got. You won't get much with £300, especially if you're buying new but it's possible. We will however need more information.
What exactly will the system be used for? If gaming, what games? What else, other than games? Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using? Do you need kb/mouse or any other peripherals? Are you willing to buy used parts? Max budget for everything is £300? Anything else? |

Mike wrote Personally i would save up ur money for a better one I'm gonna go ahead and agree with Mike. Even though it's possible, I think if you save up a couple hundred dollars more you will be able to have a PC that can do a lot more. Obviously all up to your choice, but since you're gonna play with a controller anyways there's no rush to go to PC, is there? |

If you built one for 300 you could play most games (depending on what exactly you want to play) but it would HAVE to be at the lowest settings. I'd save up your budget but if you insist one you'd be lucky to find a pre-built with that budget. You may get quite lucky with local selling sites but i'm not too sure. If you wish to build one PM and i'll make you a list. |

Save up, it'll be worth it. Also, most games you just plug your controller in. |

You should save a little more money up but if that is your max and you still want to proceed you should look into getting a dell optiplex and popping a used gpu in it. Many guids on internet/youtube. |
