I have a tablet, had it for awhile. Back of it said Nexus, when turning it on it says google. I don't know what tablet it actually is but it was working fine and then froze up. I restarted it and it went to a boot loop. I then went to recovery mode and wiped it clean to try just clearing the system I guess and now when I turn it on it constantly sits on the google screen. Does nothing.

Mitochondria wrote Make and model code?

On the very bottom of the back it says "ASUS Pad- ME370T"

When I power it on. It's just stuck on the "GOOGLE" with the unlock logo. Nothing happens at all

late response; you could try flashing some custom firmware on it. Fairly simple and you could wipe/reset from there with RSD/ABD.

I can't entirely think of a reason that it would just lock up into a BL unless there was a memory fault which isn't usually the case. It could be a processor/battery issue and a good way to test for that is just to knock on the back of the phone a few times not extremely hard but enough that you can feel it. That or put your thumbs off center horizontally and put two or three fingers in the back and press lightly while booting to give it some contact.

I would try the tapping/knocking first then try flashing firmware if anything it is a processor/battery/wifi chip (this was common in Samsung's note 4(?) if i am remembering; can be found in plenty of other phones and usually if so will end up resulting in a fairly ugly outcome) issue and can be replaced under warranty if by chance you have one.

Follow the instuctions on this page. robschmuecker.com/how-to-boot-int...e-nexus-7/

This will allow you to boot into recovery mode.

Delete/wipe the cache partition then reboot the device from the recovery menu. See if this get's you any further, if not then you will need to factory reset the device from the recovery menu.

If both fail you will need to flash the stock firmware again to the device.

Post back with the results as we might have to find the stock firmware for it.

I tried all the recovery type options. Literally everything. Does the same thing

I tried this and still nothing. All of this happened because I turned it on and went to the AppStore and updated Twitter. It then freezes, I waited about 15 minutes then restarted the tablet. I turned it back on and as soon as I'd unlock the device it would power off. I then put it in recovery mode and wiped the cache and what not and now this is where we're at.

So this page should have the stock ROM for you device which when googling your device, it appears to be a Nexus 7. If it isn't then let us know.

developers.google.com/android/images

You will need to download the ROM to a computer to do this. The page does have instructions to flash the ROM.

It may look intimidating to do but it's really not that hard.
