Since call of duty has been realised the first 3 games was a hit but when the original modern warfare was released that's where it taken off with games coming out like MW2 MW3 BO1 BO2 and advanced warfare in recent times as the best games. But since the demise of boots on the ground call of duty has fallen on sales but when The ultimate edition of Infinite warfare included MW remastered the sales hit a high but has slowed down on sales again and after another disappointing Black ops release BO4 when will treyarch sledgehammer and infinity ward learn that maybe there time of being one of the best games is slowly dying! |

I love how everyone complains. Id love you guys to make video games (Keep the name the same but change the edition or whatever its called). The COD community is never happy. They came back to boots on the ground and everyone complains the game is trash for whatever reason. If your not happy dont preorder it or buy it. No one is forcing you. Create your own game see how it is. Its annoying. Their trying to change their ways of doing but the community hates every changes they do. They can have a great idea and push out an update with something the community hates but their prepairing for DLC 2 (for example). No you guys dont let them do what their plan is/vision for the game. Yall sit here complaining. You guys want them to bring those exos back? Well I wouldnt hate it. It changes the gameplay and how we play. For example play Battlefield then Titan Fall. 2 different games and 2 different play styles. Yall sit here complaining if your not happy with Call of Duty dont buy the game. Go play minecraft or just go play Roblox. |

I think you are wrong here, BO4 Has brought so many people back to the Cod franchise, people have loved this game so far myself included, BO4 has also just been announced as the Top second Best selling game on PS4/XB1 |

That's how it goes everywhere. Take runescape for example, they made a extreme change to the game back in 2012 and the game was slowly declining to the point it was at a stalemate. Nothing couldn't get stronger nor could they release lower tier weapons because then high end players would be left out or not willing to grind for it. People just don't like change. You should see the 07 community when something small and significant wants to be released. If its anything similar to the new game. Same with cod, i loved bo3, it's probably my top cod games out there. it was so fast paced compared to bo4's campfest. I shouldn't have to force myself to play a OBJ gamemode just to see people moving. People can argue all day that they want the "old days" of cod, when in reality we we're just more tolerable. You think someone can sit there and get OMA tubed again for hours on end in ground war? or infinite stunned and setup for a trickshot? |

I love how people still think that just because they don't play a game that much anymore nobody else does either lol |

i know bo4 is a great COD but my point im trying to make is that keeping a franchise alive is harder than you think. I said alive in the way that they have to keep the "base" if the game the same. What im trying to say is they dont rename the franchise.
I will use Battlefield as an example. They release Call of Duty Then they release Battlefield a year after. 2 different games. Im sure its easier to create a new game than it is to continue a franchise. (sorry its hard to explain im French) |

It's simple if you think Call Of Duty is dead you're stupid.
It's a game where the community has so much damn faith that they'll do it right, no matter how many times they **** up, the community will always buy and try the game, I will admit BO3 was a huge success, sold a lot & whilst I never played it personally as I didn't much enjoy MP on there. They've done a fantastic Job with Black Ops 4 whilst you can say it's " Dead " when considering it's probably the most well put together Battle Royale if you want to admit it or not, what prevents this game from being #1 is that it's paid, if it went free & all platforms 100% it would put a challenge up against Fortnite. Not only that, but it broke records on launch, it's still being involved, they're listening to the community & doing their damn well best for once we're getting what we ask for. sure it might not be for you, but it's hardly a dying game, sure it doesn't have the numbers on twitch, mixer whatever other streaming platform, but that's for the pure damn fact that people who play cod don't watch streamers, I play the living shit out of this game and I don't care to watch anyone else play it, sure I do from time to time but compared to what I watch, it's never cod.. point being CoD wont die for a long ass time because they've got the community behind them, Zombies, Multiplayer and now BR and let me tell you so far they're doing an amazing job at bringing rewards and keep content fresh. People hated on Ghosts, was probably the best damn years of comp. People hated on IW and let me tell you that game wasn't so bad. People hated on Advanced Warfare and by far is was one of the best Cods. People hated on WWII whilst it was a complete shit show to begin with it improved, it got better. People hated on BO4 and said oh you can't do this or that and let me tell you they've done exactly what they said they'd do. and I'm damn well proud to be a part of that after all the hard years the CoD community has gone through, I can say I have a game that I can stick to for longer than a month. One Last thing, cod will never be the same because we evolve, we change new people play they change, we can't go backwards... If we could then our jokes and what we say that use to be funny wouldn't be taken so serious, some things have to change, whilst we disagree with them that's just how we live, if you played MW2/MW3 damn well good, it was an amazing time, but as life goes on things change, sadly in some cases for the worst nothing we can do about that. Eg, I can't make a joke about someone or something without being called out for it. Unless you lived in the Era you will not understand, unless you focus and look at what the world is now, you'll not understand. |

I don't think Call of Duty will ever really be dead. Unless they make a huge mistake somehow but Bo4 is alright imo |
