So What is Discord?

Basically, Discord is an alternate way to talk to people online. Discord has text chats, private DMS, and the best part; Discord has voice chats.

Why Should I Join?

TheTechGame's Discord server acts as an extension to the original website, where the rules of TTG still apply. The discord server is a place where you get to have more in-depth conversations with other TTG members mostly because of how inactive it is right now. You get a more personalized experience while using discord.


Why Not Just Stay In The Shoutbox?

The discord server has a couple different things to keep users coming back. The discord server has a level up system, where each time you reach a new tier of level, you will get a "role" (kinda like a badge), on your profile for everyone to see.

The helpful bot in the discord also is a very fun extra perk to have. Once you enter the main chat, head over to the #bot-dump channel on the left side, and type in "!help" for all the commands the bot has to offer.


If you do become active in the discord, you have the opportunity to earn the Discord badge.

Essentially, the Discord server is a great way to uses to get to know other members. It's an easier way to get to know who's who and what's going on with TTG.

Sean has even made a special channel releasing news on any free games out at the moment.
